New Jersey is fortunate to possess two strong masters' level programs. With almost 100 new graduates annually, our membership is rapidly expanding.  Contact each program (see below) for specific information as pre-requisites vary. For more information on PA education in general, please CLICK HERE.

The UMDNJ PA Program was founded in 1975 and resides on the Piscataway campus of UMDNJ. Candidates who successfully complete the program are awarded a Master of Science degree. The program also offers a dual-degree program which allows qualified students to earn both Bachelor's and Master's degrees in six years. Class size is approximately fifty students.

The Seton Hall University PA Program began as a joint effort with UMDNJ in 1995. It became an independent program in 2001. Upon successful completion, the program awards a Master of Science - Physician Assistant degree. It also offers a dual-degree program allowing a student to obtain both a Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degree in six years. Class size is approximately thirty students.
